This wine is 96% merlot and 4% cabernet sauvignon. It was aged for 16 months in Hungarian and French barrels with 22% being new oak. Earthy under tones of truffle and cigar box give way to plum and black cherry with a hint of cedar. Nice acidity keeps the finish lively and fresh. 168 cases, retail $24
