2009 Cali, Walla Walla Valley

This is a blend of 51% cabernet sauvignon, 42% merlot and 7% sangiovese. This is a blend of 4 different vineyards in Walla Walla, Birch Creek, Pepper Bridge, Les Collines and Seven Hills. Aged 18 months in Hungarian, French and American barrels, with 16% being new oak. Dried fruit of rasin and black currant, along with rose petal on the nose leads into silky tannins with a long finish. A hint of cedar rounds out the end. 1525 cases, retail $18
